About Me
I grew up in Italy, where bread is not something you buy as an afterthought. It is something you make, share, and take seriously. That relationship with food and with the craft of baking has stayed with me ever since.
I have been making sourdough for fifteen years, refining my technique through professional experience at E5 Bakehouse in Hackney and Ille Brød in Oslo, two of the most respected artisan bakeries around. Along the way I have taken classes, made countless mistakes, and learned something new from every loaf.
After years of teaching family, friends and colleagues from my kitchen table in Hampstead, I now open my doors more regularly to anyone who wants to learn. My classes are small and hands-on, designed to give you real knowledge and real confidence, not just a recipe to follow at home.
I teach because I genuinely believe that anyone can bake beautiful bread. You just need the right guidance, a little patience, and a very good starter.
